We then had to work with series of shots on the board and put then in the order of appearance. Divided into two groups the whole class had to come up with ideas for Shrinking Time and Expanding Time. Our group has come up with an idea that in order to shrink time, quick and simple cuts can be taken out of the video in order to make it shorter. Also a title such as '2 Years After' can help to engage the audience and cut the time.

Filming Process
We are now reaching the final staging of our filming as we have shot most of the footage we needed. However, there is still some film missing from our video such as close ups of the girls' faces.
Yesterday we were filming all the lip syncing of the male lead that we needed for our video. We shot in a variety of locations such as Kidwel's park and Maidenhead town centre. This was done in order to create fast pace jump cuts in our video to keep the audience's attention, Also this gives us more footage to work with.
This shot was done in the centre of Maidenhead: we were trying to catch the sun in the background to have a unique natural effect.

Editing Process
For the past few lessons my partner and I have been working on importing and editing our footage. The shots look good on the mac however, we still have a lot of raw footage that we need to make decisions on; whether to keep it or delete it and also how much is needed.
We are currently working with simple techniques such as 'cut', 'paste' 'delete' 'speed up/slow down/' as we are still in the process of filming. The final touches such as the the effects and the filters will be added to our music video at the end, when we have got everything we need. We also worked with Colour Corrector today as we captures a piece of footage in poor lighting and needed to adjust the colours and decide whether we still want the keep the shots.

Planning and Research - Filming
So far our filming has been successful. We have been filming over the half term and have shot a variety of footage. We have filmed in Maidenhead town, to add a more urban to the video but also to have some different shots. We filmed using the boy statue in the centre of Maidenhead, using arc shots around the statue and the male actor. Town hall was also used as a location as it has a nice green area and perfect some some tree shots of Tess.
High and low angles were also used during our filming to create some contrast. The filming also featured some shops such as Next which are located in the Nicholson's centre. We have done most of our filming already, however, we still need to include lip syncing shots of Dan as we feel that there are not enough of them.
We used this bench located by the statue to capture the bench shots from our storyboard.
